I just received my paperback and I’m part of the 193 Club! Never thought I’d be so excited about getting lucky enough to get a copy of a book with a misprint 😂 that’s just the joy of St Crispians indeed

I read your comment about doing St Cristian’s proud on paperback gate and my thought was… I would so love to meet this woman. You are a delight. I wish Kansas was closer so I could go to one of your book signings. What a blessing your writing is to me.

It was such a sweet and unexpected treat to have Emma 8 available over a Thanksgiving break. Thank you! It was beautifully crafted and I already look forward to what St Crispian holds in future months. I pray this Christmas season offers the restorative hibernation you deserve.

I ordered the hardback, and in the mean while I am reading the kindle unlimited version, and instead of devouring it like I did with all the others I am taking it slow, daily so I can saver it. I love these books.

Your words, which are Emma’s words have so much beauty and meaning. Thank you so much for being brave and putting your talent and skill with the written word out for all of us to enjoy. ❤️

Will there be copies to purchase of any other Emma books at the Springville library event?

My sister was one of the lucky ones to get a misprint! It was, however, stolen in an airport. She text me“Pray for Emma and my Shakespeare.” She is desolate. I told her the best we can do is view this as an opportunity to ensnare another reader for Beth Brower.

New Emma Lion reader and collection development librarian in NY state! I added vol 1-7 to our library collection this week. My assistant director messaged me this morning to say she finished vol 1 last night and was on to #2!

I just got my hands on our library’s Vol 8 and I had no idea what Club 193 was. But there was the bookplate. Hmm. Ok whatever. When I got to the glitch I thought it was a gloriously overdone strike through. I tried to decipher it but gave up and moved on. Only now do I get it! Ha! I’ve read 15 books so far this year, 8 of which have been the most delightful romp with Lion & Co.. Vol 8 left me teetering. Oh my, what highs and lows! Emma seems to know what she wants but… is it what’s best? I can set everyone up for you, Beth, if you need me to. I have it all worked out. But be warned that in trying to do the same for my 7 children I’ve failed 100% of the time. None of them took me up on the arrangement I wanted to make. Maybe that’s why I would love to do it in fiction and it would be happily ever after for all! Anyway, awaiting resolution. Which of your books should I read in the meantime?

Your books have meant so much to me these past few months. I’m planning a trip to UT to visit family in February and am determined to make the dates align with the Feb event mentioned above. Do you have any more details on that?

For those of you in the 193 Club - how long did it take to receive your bookplate? Did you get a reply to the email you sent?

I have 6 copies with the misprint (!!!!!!) that I'm giving as Christmas gifts. I want to give them with the bookplates, but I emailed a couple days ago and didn't get any kind of response.

Tamara,

The 193 bookplates have not been mailed yet as we are giving readers time for them to submit their addresses. I plan to send out a message to let readers know that they will be mailed out around the first of the year.

Cheers!

Beth

Beth,

Thank you for the quick response! I was hoping to get them before I shipped the books so I didn't have to ship them separately. Also, because the sentence is unreadable without the clarification and no one is going to wait long to read their book! 😄 I'll just send a note with the corrected words now and send the bookplates in Jan.

Thank you so much for letting me know and for the fun bookplates!
