I will be near Portland, Oregon on August 3rd for an event! See the July newsletter for all the details.

If you would like to read this and other scenes, letters, and short stories from St. Crispian’s, you may subscribe here. Thank you for your support.

It is always recommended that you be current with The Unselected Journals of Emma M. Lion before reading The St. Crispian’s Gazette. Enjoy!

The Window

“They are still out there, by the fountain.”

“Who?”

“Islington, the photographer—Pierce is his name, if you recall—and the Lion girl.”

“Mmm.”

“You’re not asleep already, are you? I’ve no idea how you manage so quickly.”

“I was well on my way. What is it you’re doing, anyhow? Come to bed.”
