DEAR READERS,
It is a month of pending green in my part of the world. A time where one knows—or at least carries a robust hope—that the stubborn rule of all cold things grey will give way to a brighter, softer determination.
March has always been sacrosanct.
March is to me what Thursdays are to Islington.
There are many reasons, one being that it is the month of my birthday. Huzzah! What a wonderful, windblown, thick-early-field-grass-just-starting-to-appear time to be born. In the spirit of celebration, I am going to give you all a gift, a token of my thanks. Here is a snippet from Emma M. Lion, Vol. 8. (There are no guarantees that the characters won’t ask me to change something in the editing process, but this is where we are for now.)
