DEAR READER,
It has been an April for the blossoms.
This unpredictable Spring and its cold elven light, rimming petals of pink and white in soft spell. Then followed a few warm bursts, days of sunshine so convincing they talked the blossoms into full show, shaping the atmosphere from that of twilight into the glory of morning. Then temperatures, shy of too much sun, lowered back into mystery, preserving the enchanting banners of the season.
I’d like to take you out for a day of blossoms. Now, in this moment. Before the rush of a week ending is upon us. We’re going to start at dawn in 1926, and then through the sunshine hours. You’ll see the shift into late afternoon and finally the fall of evening, an 1891 moon hanging like a pearl, as it should in Spring.
TOTES!
We have sold Emma M. Lion totes at a few events. Many of you have asked if they will become available to all readers. Yes! How about we post them today? You can find them on my website here.
These classic, well-made totes are for the Absolute Essentials of life. And other less whimsical necessities. I hope you enjoy them.
HOUSEKEEPING
Remember in February how I answered the following question with the following answer?
Are you going to consider doing audiobooks for Emma M. Lion?
Stay tuned! Keep the radio on.
I’d like to amend my answer.
Are you going to consider doing audiobooks for Emma M. Lion?
Keep the radio on and turn the volume up!
How’s that for not too cryptic?
I hope you’ve been having an April drawn with the light only given to Spring. And that pockets of delectable stillness have been mixed into the good movement that comes with these vernal days.
I’ll see the Gazette readers in the next week or two, and be back with the bookshelf the beginning of May.
x Beth
