DEAR READERS,
I am being impersonated by someone on Facebook. They are posting and interacting with people as if they were me. I’m doing my best to have this account removed.
Would you please help report this false account to Facebook? The more people who report a false account the quicker the platform is to resolve the issue.
The fake account is under my name, and is using a graphic pulled from my Substack. (I don’t want to post the actual handle they are using because I don’t wish to give it visibility or traction.)
If you see any other false Beth Brower author accounts in the future, please report it to the platform and let me know at contact@rhysdonpress.com.
THE ONLY AUTHORIZED BETH BROWER ACCOUNTS ARE:

Thank you all for your support!
Until soon,
x Beth
I've reported it! The challenge is that usually, I select the option that the profile is pretending to be a friend or a celebrity, and then Facebook wants you to tag that friend or celebrity. Since you're not actually on Facebook, I had to just report it as a fraud or scam.
I reported the fake account the day I saw your post, and today I received this singularly exasperating update from Facebook:
"We use technology to help prioritize reports for review.
As our review team is focused on the most severe cases with potential for real world harm, we're not able to review your report.
We understand that this might be frustrating so we recommend exploring the options available to control what you see.
We'll let you know if there is an update on your report.
If you think we made a mistake, you can request a review of this decision within 180 days."
