A Postcard from Beth
DEAR READER,
It has been a doozy of a day. (Week?) (Month?) But a few things have converged in a comedic, tangled triangle. It’s very Emma-esque. I have not yet discussed it with the characters, but I think they are all having a laugh at my expense.
I present A COMEDY…OF ERRORS? (And address some speculation.)
ACT 1
This last fall something went glitchy with the Rhysdon Press email address. Unbeknownst to me and my team, some emails were not coming through. Today, a password was reset, which released a slew of emails into the contact@rhysdonpress.com inbox.
My assistant is going to respond. It will take some time, so please be patient. Our deepest apologies for those who reached out with order questions and 193 Club requests. Never fear, all will be sorted.
ACT 2
Booksellers have had a difficult time ordering my books this week. Upon investigation, there was an odd never-happened-before-glitch with the expanded distribution in the United States. It looks like this is due to system updates. Please check the website in a few days. Things should be resolved very soon. Thank you for understanding. I’m so grateful for all the bookshops who carry my books.
ACT 3
I have an exciting announcement to make on March 3rd! (Will now be March 12th to do forces beyond my control.) And I am not going to say anything until then…
…but readers have found information online and it looks like rumors are starting to spread about what or what isn’t happening with The Unselected Journals of Emma M. Lion on the international stage. Speculation has ensued.
I can’t wait to share the details with you.
As there has been a flurry of discussion about what this will mean for EML 9, let me say that I am working hard, and the timing of its release will not be impacted. EML 9 will be coming out this year. Woot!
It is going to be a very joyful season for Emma M. Lion around the globe.
FIN
Whew!
At this point, I can only put my head in my hands and laugh.
A humorous confluence.
Thank you all for your enthusiasm and support.
Until soon,
Beth
